LRSAR Mission Alerts — SMS Terms and Conditions

Program Description

Lakes Region Search & Rescue, Inc. provides recurring mission activation and operational text messages to active team members who have consented to receive them. Messages may ask members to reply 1 if able to respond or 2 if unable to respond. Detailed mission information may be provided through LRSAR’s authorized WhatsApp channel.

Consent

Members enroll by providing their mobile number and giving written consent during onboarding or roster renewal. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of LRSAR membership.

Message Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies according to mission and operational activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting Out

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. After opting out, the member will receive a confirmation and no further LRSAR Mission Alert texts unless the member subscribes again by replying START or providing renewed consent.

Delivery

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text messaging is supplemental to LRSAR’s other mission-notification methods, including automated voice calls.
