2025 Wrap up
As 2025 comes to a close, we want to reflect on the growth of our organization and the contributions we were grateful to make to the hiking community across the State of New Hampshire.
This year, our roster grew to 78 active team members. We responded to 17 missions, conducted 16 team training days, and delivered more than a dozen presentations to schools and recreation programs focused on search and rescue awareness and outdoor safety. Combined, these efforts totaled more than 2,025 volunteer hours. We also invested in strengthening our social media presence as another channel for education and outreach to the broader outdoor recreation community.
We are incredibly grateful for the donations, social media shares, kind letters from those we were able to assist in difficult situations, and the tremendous support shown by participants in our largest annual fundraiser—the Rescue Me 5K.
Looking ahead to 2026, we are excited to continue strengthening our team’s capabilities and our ability to work alongside the State and partner SAR organizations to assist those in need throughout the Lakes Region, the Southern White Mountains, and wherever we may be called to help.
We wish you all a very Happy New Year. We’ll be standing by in 2026, ready to support our fellow outdoor adventurers when they need us most.
