Wilderness First Aid Training

LRSAR completed a 2 day Wilderness First Aid certification this weekend at SOLO in Conway—classroom + field scenarios.

15 team members trained and ready—strengthening our ability to assess, stabilize, and manage patients in the backcountry.

Thanks to SOLO, LRSAR, and our dedicated weekend learners!

Why is the team moving a patient in this position and without a litter?

The photo depicts a training scenario where the patient location is dangerous and cannot be made safe. This requires movement to a better location before further treatment and a litter evacuation can begin. Reviewing location safety, and the safety of the patient and rescuers is one of the first steps in Wilderness First Aid.
