Training CPR March 2026
Yesterday, five members of Lakes Region Search & Rescue spent the day together doing something pretty simple — and incredibly important. We attended a CPR recertification class led by New Hampshire Fish & Game Lt. Morse, a certified American Heart Association instructor.
For our team, training like this is just part of being ready to help our neighbors when something goes wrong. Emergencies can happen on a hiking trail, at a ballfield, in a driveway, or right in your own living room. Taking the time to learn and refresh these skills helps give us the confidence to step in when every second counts.
We’re grateful to have opportunities like this close to home, and proud of the volunteers who continue to show up, put in the work, and look out for our community.
If you’ve ever thought about taking a CPR class, consider this your sign. You can find classes near you through the American Heart Association. And here in the White Mountains, we’re lucky to have incredible wilderness medicine training available locally through SOLO in Conway.
In the mountains and at home, being prepared can save lives.
